Karen Yates

Writer and copy editor Karen has travelled the world looking for food trends and stories – her adventures include sipping malbec from 100-year-old vines in Argentina, enjoying pintxos in San Sebastian and setting sail for a lobster safari off western Sweden.

She has written for numerous food magazines and websites, and was the managing editor of Spinneys Food, sister publication to Waitrose Food for the UAE, as well as The Waterside Inn Magazine, created for Michel Roux Snr to celebrate his restaurant in Bray retaining three Michelin stars for 30 years.
