Consultant editor Gill began her working life as an English teacher. After a decade spent instilling a love of language and literature in recalcitrant inner-city teenagers, she decided to change direction and became a journalist.

She started her new career on a food-focused newsstand publication owned by Delia Smith, before being invited to edit Delia’s bestselling book How To Cook and work on the launch team of Eighteen years later, the experience she has accrued working across hundreds of projects – from newspapers and magazines to books, websites and apps – she now lends to Flavour Feed.
