Debra Daley

Writer and copy editor Debra has dined around the world on everything from alligator stew to zacahuiles (aka giant tamales). Back in the mists of time, she trained as a chef, but liked writing too much to stay in the kitchen. She has travelled widely, and lived in Japan, China and Mexico as well as the UK and Australia. Now she resides on a coastal property in New Zealand, where she writes and forages, preserves and cooks.

She has written for a multitude of titles, including Vogue, The Telegraph, Net-a-Porter, Hello!, Woman’s Day, Prima, Sunday Mail and Jamie At Home. She also translated and edited recipes for Bauer Media’s Hamburg-based RecipesPlus Project.
